Who We Are

We are the Lakeland Prevent Alcohol and Risk Related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y.) Program Association, a registered, non-profit, volunteer-based organization serving youth in our local community. We are a sister organization to the many P.A.R.T.Y. programs around Canada and internationally, with whom we share goals and a mission statement.

We operate a core program, the Lakeland P.A.R.T.Y. Program, and other programs listed on these webpages

The area of service we cover is within the Aspen Health Region in Alberta, Canada. We serve youth in and around Bonnyville and Cold Lake including areas around Iron River, Ardmore, Glendon, Kehewin, 4-Wing Cold Lake, and LeGoff (Cold Lake First Nations).

We present to these students in schools and in the Bonnyville and Cold Lake Health Centres

Overall Program Governance and Structure

Board of Directors
The Lakeland program is governed by an elected board of directors and members of the executive. The executive includes the Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Executive Director
The Executive Director manages the program as a whole including administration, fundraising, curriculum development, project management, etc.
Presentation Coordinators
Two Presentation Coordinators are responsible for the pre-P.A.R.T.Y. and P.A.R.T.Y. day presentations. They lead their respective teams of volunteers and presenters to run daily delivery of core programming for the Bonnyville and Cold Lake programs.
Volunteers and Program Delivery Personnel
Lakeland P.A.R.T.Y. depends on the participation of schools and teachers, and the excellent support of the Bonnyville and Cold Lake Health Centres and their staff. Moreover, the program would not exist withouth the valuable contributions of our presenters, who include firefighters, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, ambulance personnel, funeral home personnel, fighter pilots, injury survivors, and others who volunteer their time to work with youth in the program. Please visit our supporters page to find out more about who makes up the Lakeland P.A.R.T.Y. program.
